چکیده

Weed infestation is one of the main challenges in crop management. The environmental, economic and social impacts attributed to pesticides lead search for new sustainable possibilities management these plants, especially Commelina benghalensis, which considered worst weeds world. This work consists a description external morphology insect Lema quadrivittata its potential use as biological regulator C. weed plant, suffers effective injuries by this natural enemy. Plots with high benghalensis were inspected find plant damage possible causes. Upon identifying occurrence L. quadrivittata, it was decided cultivate greenhouse order observe interaction plant. In sense, during study, we identified describing morphological structures adults larvae control agent. an approach attack on benghalensis. Future studies are needed indicate from knowledge behavior, evaluations hosts.

Post-introduction evolution in the biological control agent Longitarsus jacobaeae (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae)

Rapid evolution has rarely been assessed in biological control systems despite the similarity with biological invasions, which are widely used as model systems. We assessed post-introduction climatic adaptation in a population of Longitarsus jacobaeae, a biological control agent of Jacobaea vulgaris, which originated from a low-elevation site in Italy and was introduced in the USA to a high-ele...

Production, quality control and biological evaluation of 153Sm-TTHMP as a possible bone palliation agent

Introduction: Various bone palliative therapeutic agents have been developed and widely used for bone metastasis such as 153Sm-EDTMP. In this study, production, quality control and biodistribution studies of a newly developed therapeutic compound have been presented followed by imaging studies in wild-type rodents. Methods: 153Sm-TTHMP was prepared starting from 153<...
